I've tried fiddling with my FPR but I don't really know what I'm doing, so I figured I'd get some help.
I have a Paxton FPR with a Summit Racing gauge hooked on, and I'm wondering how I should adjust it to my setup. I'm currently running 17-18psi at full boost on a 16T with 350cc white injectors. I thought the stock fuel pressure was around 48-50psi, but I don't know if to get the same amount of fuel, you'd want lower or higher pressure on larger injectors (I'm thinking lower). I have the basic 17psi chip from ST (which sucks, btw).
Also, when I'm adjusting it, do I need to pull the vacuum source off to get the true reading for an idle pressure? Right now I have it set (without the vacuum source) around 47psi, and I'm throwing black smoke at WOT. It would make sense that it needs to be turned down, but I'd like to get some advice before I turn it way down and blow my HG.
Something else to note is my spark plugs are only lasting about 3-4 months until they're failing to ignite at high boost. I have NGK iridiums to put in, but I've been using coppers and platinums until I get the tuning a little more up to par.

why use bigger injectors and an FPR for a 16t?
and btw for sparkplugs the oem coppers are much better then both plats and iridiums.

40+ mods and counting...

Already installed when I bought the car. I might eventually go for an 18T but for now, I've got other things to spend my money on.

Seems to me you're at cross purposes, since the ECU should be left to make the adjusts, your turbo is not large enough to warrant messing with FP's.
16T w/ wastegate actuator set to 3-4 psi, AC Delco TCV, copper plugs should all you need. Get the exhaust end taken care of too.
If the chip tune is really that bad, save your $$ for a better one.

I'll eventually put a Rica tune on it that's set up for my mods.
The exhaust is fine. 3" downpipe, 3" mandrel bent exhaust. I do however, need new O2 sensors, so that's next on my list. I will attribute a lot of the poor tuning on the bad O2 sensors.
