I'll get it started:
based off mpg indicator in dash: 19city/23-24 hwy
lots of stop/go, traffic, etc.
about 10k miles ago replaced fuel pump, o rings.
recently replaced air filter, changed oil to synthetic
yesterday replaced spark plugs (champion platinums), cleaned MAF, hoping to see some mpg gains this next fill.
looking to replace TCV with ipd's to get some more mpg.

A good amount of stop and go.
Lead foot and luv performing the Italian tuneup once a week.
200k and needs a full stage zero.
GTX 10w-30 high-mileage burns about 5 quarts every 3-4k.
Tires are just about worn out.
Exhaust leak, O2 sensors are crusty as hell.
P0455 OBDII code.
DEAD inspection
Bottom line it really doesn't matter. I abuse the stuff out of this $1,200 commuter car and only replace what is completely necessary. I still get better mileage then my Expedition.
As for the cute little interest thing, i dont replace anything. Its called cleaning the system..

If you don't mid, Im curious about the cost of your fuel pump replacement. I had to have mine done in June and it cost close to a thousand dollars. This thread is a great idea. Keep at it.

The best I have gotten on the T5 is 35mpg when hypermiling.
Click me for hypermiling tricks
Its excruciatingly boring (60 mph fwy) and I got a cramp in my leg from modulating the throttle over 150 miles.

Is that an "in the tank" fuel pump? I think I got ripped off really bad and am going to the BBB. Thanks

I use 92 octane gas.
I try not to accelerate and brake rapidly, but when I deliver pizza, its inevitable.
And thats with me driving like a fool. If I drove a lot better/slower on the freeway I could maybe hit 25.

That's in KMs for the record. It's nice to see that after driving for 20kms I still had 990 more to go. I believe that the reading won't go any higher.
As for mpg I'm averaging 27 mpg (8.7L/100KM) with city and highway over the last 3000miles(5000km).
I would lie to thank the manual tranny for my milage. The live reading also let's me know how much fuel I waste when I drop the hammer, not that it deters me too much.
Sorry for the UBER large pic (complete with bad img quality. Don't know photo editting and this is off my mobile)

wow thats pretty good. for us non metric folks that comes to about 615 miles.
hate to break it to ya but i beat that by a long shot once.

i did it by cheating. i came down out of the mountains one day and got gas afterwards. all that downhill makes a difference. . .

Nice work, rolling down a mountain definitely would help. In Toronto we have only hills, and not even big ones at that. You should have put it in N and just rolled for a few miles and then you could even get more!!!

i did have it in N for most of the downhill (about 15 miles +/-).
it might have been a little higher if i didnt have to drive through town to get to the gas station.
i was running on fumes most of the way down.

I don't do much highway driving and there is over 150k miles on the car but I should still be getting better mpg than 17 right?
Oh and I drive very consciously of the throttle and try to conserve my momentum.
So what might be wrong that I'm only getting 17mpg?

put an intake on it. or do a full stage zero. routine checks, make sure things are in working order.
i was getting only 18-19 mpg now i get 20-22 in town. on highway i get around 24-26. intake helps. im putting in boost control and some related items. doing obd ii tuning as well.
i have a 1999 s70 t5 btw. i am turning it into a s70 r...
