I have tried to contact these folks via phone and email. Finally gave up and ordered from FCP as the price wasn't that different with the 10% sale they're running.
Anyone else have any luck with them?

I to have tryed to get them on the phone and by email, after many times i got this email from them.
"Due to severe market conditions and extremely challenging corporate issues with Ford Motor Companny ( the parent company of Volvo Cars), Volvo is embarking on a dealership consolidation program throughout the American market in and effort to eliminate over 60 dealerships.
Volvo of South Atlanta (thevolvopartsclub.com)is one of the franchises that is part of this consolidtion program. As of September 2008, we are no longer an operating Volvo franchise. And can no longer Sell parts on this site.
All orders that have not been billed and charge to payment cards will or have been cancelled.
Thank you"
I starting asking around if this could be true and all the dealer's in the Atl,Ga area have told me the same thing, I was also told that there was one more in the Atlanta area that would close with in the next 10 - 24 mo. With Volvo of South Atlanta and Bill Heard closed i hope this not going to be the norm for the car market as we know it. I wish all of the staff of both places the best and pray that there will not be any more.

Damn. Hate to hear this. Was hoping to find a local place that I could get OEM parts from... And yeah, Bill Heard is based here in GA too. They own Tom Jumper just north of the city and if i am not mistaken it is one of the largest Chevy dealers in the country. Rough times...
