Hello everybody!

I’m a new vendor to this forum but not new to the forum world. i have a friend on this forum that mentioned to me that you guys are having some trouble getting a hold of some decent aftermarket parts for Volvos. This post is mainly to gain interest in the replication of any and all parts for any and all models. so post what you would be interested in getting done and let me know if we get enough people interested in a certain item I will hold a group buy with a discounted price.

Keep in mind that i also do powder coating. If anyone needs a quote on some parts to be done send me a private message and i will respond accordingly. I will be posting pictures momentarily.

If we can get a minimum of ten people commited and a hood we can do it of course the person who sacrifices their hood will be compensated(can't spell sorry) this is going to be how it works with most situations for forums. I get a number of people involved and make a group buy. If some one by them self wanted to get this done it would cost a lot, but collectivly I can make a good deal with everyone. And of course again whom ever sacrifices the hood for molding will be compinsated.

Questions- is anyone in va so I could fit test this hood to a car if I made it? and is there any other volvo that this hood will go on?

You would be the first to make a true CF hood. There was a company called gemini back in the day that made CF wrapped hoods, but they went under long ago.

hes asking what a normal hood costs, not a cf one. And to answer that question I would say anywhere from $50-$150 for an OEM hood.

which rims are you refering to the black and blue ones? yes they are pure sex! that guy only paid $470 on a group buy. hint hint (thats all four rims shipped one way).

thanks for the price there, actually that not to bad. if i could run across a hood for under $100 and i had ten people i will create the first and only exlclusive carbon fiber hood for that model. i forgot to mension this but we can offer carbon kevlar weave as well, it come in red yellow and blue weave.

edit- the black and blue rims are in the show room not in this thread......my bad

just to note when gemni made the hoods if you left the stock hood springs in the hood would crack from the pressure if i was going to buy one i would atleast want to know before hand that i should remove the springs

post a picture of the hood on the car you want done and i could tell you whether that would be a problem.

solution if this would be a problem: rubber stopper or (like you said) remove the springs?

was this a comon problem with the hoods? from what your saying i am guessing the purpose of these spring was to stop the hood from slamming on the car.

regardless you can rest assured that we will test the structure of the hoods before mass fabrication.
