Does anyone offer a full ground wire kit for the S70? And yes, I read the write-up on how to make them yourself, I'm just too lazy right now.

Well, it's that I'm at school and away form my car, so I'd prefer to order one and have it shipped and waiting for me whenever it is I get home rather than having to waste time gathering and assembling materials when I do get home. I'm usually only home for 3-4 days tops. The next time I'm home I'll I only have about 5 hours to work on it total and I have other things I want to get done.

They talk about ground wires there, used an 850R for the demo and you cna buy the kit from that company.

The Hyper Ground kit? I looked at that site earlier and couldn't find one specifically for my car, and didn't know which one was compatible.

An entire ground box? What? You're not even on the right topic here.....ground wires.

Im actually more on topic than ever. A ground box, in theory, is better than new ground wires. Therefore if a ground box didnt do anything, than obviously ground wires wont do anything.

ground box? no idea what that is and i wouldnt spend 200 bucks for it , but if your car has a bad ground, grounding wires will work. all volvo 850' or v70's arent the same on this issue. dude seriously just get some monster cable and have the ends crimped youll save enough to where it wont matter if it doesnt work. if it does give you 15 horsies...youll be giving less than about 1$ per horsie so yey. my car mustve been badly grounded do to battery cable corrosion. I used some baking soda and a wire brush to clean everything and stop the corrosion so I thought I was fine. Then my friend bought a hyperground kit and said he noticed a difference in many running systems on his vw R32, so recently i went and got some cheap wires, grounded the same 5 points he did, and I did notice a difference immediately. I mightve had the same gains by replacing the battery cables, but I didnt really know my ground was that bad without the ground wires. I will eventually replace the battery cables and then take the wires off and do a double blind comparo with a friend to settle it once and for all, if only for myself.

If nothing else just do it yourself it won't cost that much. I've been meaning to but I haven't had time to go out to get the wires. I'm going to solder all mine together, the same way I bled down on the 4ga amp wiring I put in. I've been holding out because I haven't found blue or clear wire I wanted to use...

you can pick up those ground boxes for like 60 (or mabe it was 80?) on ebay. If you just add the box and all ground connections are in check then, fine. However if your wires look shabby and have a layer of crap on them, then replacement can def be an aid. I personally thought the stock ones coming off the head look cheap and crappy as all hell. Plus all of the stock ones coming off the - bat terminal are only crimped (not sealed) which can easily lead to poor connections.

So if I did decide to do it myself, how much wire would I need? 10ft? 12ft?
