Chip Mod For S70r

Starting off with a chip, and then *maybe* a lowering kit.
With the chip side of life, what kind of impact is it going to have on my car? I've been quoted some MASSIVE figures of gain, of which i'm aprehensive.
They're talking nearly +50kw, and +90Nm. Is this realistic with JUST a chip. I have no intention of changing the exhaust or anything else.
Some advice please, from you guys who have done it, as to whether it's worth it, or should i rather spend 1/2 my month's salary on something else?

Those figures are pretty much inline with RICA's. But i don't know if that's just straight ECU or other work too ...
Volvo SA seem to think it's possible ...

Thanks for the welcome Guys! I'm actually in South Africa, and it's the only S70R(manual) in the country. It is a manual, but not the AWD, 'cause the SA workshops couldn't service AWD at the time of import.
Where's a convenient place for me to upload photos so you guys can have a look?

From what I understand, and i've struggled to find info, there are not many differences besides the engine. The engine is the 265bhp straight 5, same as the V70R AWD.
Differences i've picked up between my R, and the S70 T5
• Suede Seats
• Heated front seats
• Electric drivers and pasanger seat
• 3Disk front loader (C70 style) with pro-logic
(I don't have the prologic amp/centre speaker tho
• Slighty lower, tighter suspension
• 17" Comets (obvious one)
• Different front valence and fog lights <-- although i've seen a very similar one on a V70 T5, but not with the gauze
• Headlight washers <-- S.A. spec don't have these as standard
• Limited slip viscous diff on the front. (i have no proof of this, but it's got plenty more traction than my 850 T5 in corners, also, when there's wheelspin, i have absolutly no control of the front, so i'm guess then it's only ever both of them that'll spin.)
Other than that I don't know.

The guage cluster, center channel speaker, and seats are the only internal differences that I have ever noticed. Oh and the door panels. Any one know of any others?
