Yes the suede seems to grip better in the R seats because you are directly on it.

I'm 5'7" 210 with a 48" chest and sparcos fit me. I think you just need to try another size.

Just get cloth seats and smack some velcro on your wings. You will do fine

That's awesome, Muay Thai is a great sport. You're destined for the UFC!

LOL UFC what a joke. In anycase like most contact sports you have weight classes. Of course Atom weight and fly weight guys are skinny. If you want beef go look at someone like Mark Russel, or Mark Selbee(sp). Also as far as shootfighting or Muay Thai, anyone who only knows one style is gonna have lots of weaknesses.
BTW I just confirmed with a buddy from a junk yard that the bolsters in the R and T5R are the same. Maybe you guys are just seeing older T5R seats that have been flattened. Dunno

I saw a Pride fight when I was in Japan, the action was great. There was a guy with a Muay Thai background against a wrestler and he won his fight pretty quickly.
Another doctor I worked with there trains for it, but doesn't actually compete. I saw his work out one day. I can't believe what they go through.

yeah I have 2-3 broken ribs any given year. That why bolsters in seats do not really impress me.
