Its very straightforward, aside from removing the stock system. If you are doing it on jackstands you will probably have to cut the exhaust, as it is very long and one piece.

Fit the new system from front to back, get everything where you like it and not rubbing, and tighten from front to back when you're satisfied. It will smell like jerk for an hour or two while all the stuff that got on it burns off smile.gif

Enjoy!

taking out the stock catback exhaust may be a little difficult with the left rear shock there...just twist/turn the whole exahust so it'll slide out without clipping ur shock

Yea, you'll probably have to cut the little support bar near the tip to get it through the suspension. I had to on mine :-\

good to know that it can be done on jackstands...& def. without cutting (stock) exhaust!

i can live with cutting off support @ tip...what tool did you use to cutoff? powertool, plasma cutter (i wish), or like a hacksaw?

yeah steve...its tight down there...i guess turn the direction that the muffler will allow...

i got the (back of) car up on ramps to take a look...thought id try install like this instead of jackstands (in rear)....
but im afraid that the compressed rear suspension will only make removal more difficult..would you agree?

My rear was on ramps and the front on jackstands. You'll be fine.

A Sawzall or a Die Grinder would work just fine if you don't have acess to a Torch.

You really don't need a sawzall, torch, or even a hacksaw (except to cut that one tiny support bar near the exhaust tip). I was able to get the stock one out (though I did take off the tip), with the car on ramps in the rear, and then get a 3" system back in, no problems. You'll need the front end up on stands (or the rear, but you want the whole car up) to get the exhaust out, and you'll have to kinda go in stages (ie: twist, pull, check, repeat), but it's totally do-able to pull out the stock catback in one piece.
