Alright guys, after some hard work, we are almost ready to launch our own mobile video prodcut brand--Vision Mobile Media, or just VISION smile.gif. And of course, I will never forget about our volvo guys, so Iwll be offering a group buy pretty soon for you guys at some pretty HUGELY discounted prices hehe.

anyway, here is a little intro. THere are alot of brands out there that screams a great value, they claim they have awesome video products at a very cheap price. Well, unfortuantely, once you get those products, you realize that their usage of "awesome" is pretty relative, sure the monitor looks great compared to your grandma's black and white tv, but it falls far short of acceptable standards when it comes to mobile video. You find these products on various online sites, on ebay, and heck, they even belong to a few well established manufacturers. pretty common problems with cheap mobile screens nowadays:

1. bad pixelation, picture is not smooth at all
2. terrible off axis, you pretty much cant see anything unless you are almost straight on
3. lack of brightness
4. cheap gears used in motorization function which results in jamming

anyway, our products will offer true high performance for low costs...and we will be constantly working with our manufactuers and customers to offer updates and improvements.

instead of launching iwth a full line into a well packed market, we will start off with our four most standout products.

some common features to the following products:

1. hgih resolution, execellent off axis viewing (i would say on par with the best of the best)
2. high quality gears in motorization process
3. aside from the indash flipout, all other units avaible in black, tan/beige, and light grey
4. one year warranty
5. remote controls included
6. two video inputs

note that none of our initial batch of products include any kind of audio inout or output, video output, or internal amplification. This is becasue we are going to start off with the basics, just the BEST SCREENS FOR THE MONEY smile.gif

so anyway, here are the products, the price listed below INCLUDES shipping to the lower 48 states. I think the group buy will most likely start at the beginning november and run through to the new year, so you guys can get your holiday shopping list started wink.gif

if you are interested in getting in on the group buy, please list what models and the quantity you would want
--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. ID-700 7" single Din indash motorized flip out LCD monitor

This is simply one the best monitors i have seens for a indash flipout, i would say the picture quality is slightly better than the one on my avic-n1, and rivals the best from alpine or panasonic. How I envision this screen to work is in conjunction with a DVD/cd/mp3 headunit, there are several high quality ones out there on the market for around 3-500 dollars. other features include 336900 pixels (real pixels, not fictional ones cited by other cheaper brand video products wink.gif ), full featured remote adjustment, motorization with memory, flip extension for deeper dash openings....

VOLVOSPEED group buy price: $350

2. FD-800 8" Ceiling Mount Flipdown LCD monitor

THis screen I would is about 90 percent of the performance of the one found on the ID700, but it is still miles ahead of ones from other cheap brands. THe offaxis viewing and brightness is still very much superior. Remote feature is the same, same pixels.

VOLVOSPEED group buy price: $300

3. FDM-800 8" ceiling mount fully motorized flipdown LCD monitor

Same screen as the FD-800 but with full motorization, can all be remote controlled too, meaning with a few touches of the remote, you can lower the screen, raise it, or set it to any position in between. smile.gif I am persoanlly gonna put two of these in my car, one for each rear passenger smile.gif a more stealthy way for rear seat video than headrest monitors, IMO cooler too smile.gif

VOLVOSPEED group buy price: $350

4. VIS-700 Replacement Sunvisor with built in 7" LCD monitor

this is my favorite prodcut, this unit features the same screen essentially as the ID700, so the quality is all there...smile.gif and the mounting system can be pretty easily adapted to work with our cars perfectly hehe smile.gif

VOLVOSPEED group buy price: $300

Bing if I were to buy one of the video products it would probably be the passenger side sunvisor, so I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase a "blank" one for the drivers side so that they still match?

Thanks

hmm right now we wont have any blank ones...its hard to justify paying hte design mold cost when we can only sell such a limited quantity.....

but it is something to think about though...
