Ok, I have a 1997 850GLT. It's all stock as far as performance is concerned. I'd like to put a bigger turbo in because supposedly the GLT turbo is pretty weak. I'd also like the turbo to bolt right on if possible so that I don't need to mess with anything else. Also, will I need an ECU upgrade or can I still benefit from a bigger turbo with the stock ECU? What adjustments could I make to the stock turbo if I decide not to upgrade?
I know there are lots of questions, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So this what you got so far:
850 GLT, 2.4L engine, mitsubishi turbocharger TD04HL-13G (190 hp, 197 lb-ft, low psi like 4 or 5)
With an ECU upgrade + Exhaust you'll be around 212HP 265lb-ft. (from iPD)
ECU upgrades are always a good idea!

Do a search. This comes up pretty often. You can put a 1996-'97 15G turbo off a regular turbo volvo in there. You'll want to get a whole new exhaust and chip to take advantage of it.
