Well excuuuuuuuse me. tongue.gif But I clearlydidn't mean against a 16T Volvo that was that modified. I'd put my money on the 15G in the 1/8th mile (like I said "halfway down the track"). Even cars to even cars, the 15G spools much more quickly than the 16T and with an auto, that makes a big difference out of the hole. But of course it's only my guess at that and my speculation that this might last to about halfway down the track. Now, add all of the stuff on your car, and we deviate from what I was talking about. So "Nyah Nyah!"

But regardless, to prove my point would pretty much be a worthless, infantile, and wholly pointless endeavor. But fun.

If you are using a 15G turbo, you can get a custom map that will spool your turbo so fast, you'll mop the floor with these 16T guys out of the hole and halfway down the track  (Auto tranny to Auto).

um... get your 15G to wax my 2.175 60' on my laggy 16T with an auto and 55 series sidewall H-Rated tires dry.gif and halfway down the track you can own my 9.000 @ 80 MPH rolleyes.gif

oh, best part I almost forgot.... still STOCK EXHAUST tongue.gif without a cat or muffler

You have got to be kidding! dry.gif

You all the parts and mandrel bends, and you can't find a shop to put them together for you. Dude, you live in LA, there are a ton of local muffler shops that can assemble, weld, and install your exhaust. Please don't tell me to give you names of shops, just open your phone book.

Considering where you live, you have made this exhaust to be much more of an issue than it is. Not just in this post, but in the previous ones.

No doubt. Its just some pipes. Im in LA Ive had my exhaust done two times. First time I didnt think much about the performance application. I just had em weld me on a magnaflow with a 2.25 inlet and some pipes going back. Just had it done again friday. I got a 3 inch downpipe, 3" cat (ebay baby), burns stainless 3" piping, and some cheap ebay 3" muff. Any exhaust shop will do it for cheap as heck. Such a difference all over, Im not sure if it is all due to the size increase or the fact my cat was f'd.

Are YOU kidding me??? If you can find a shop that can put together a downpipe and full exhaust, from prebent SS piping, that requires so many cuts and proper positioning, without F,ing the whole thing up, with the two O2 bungs, then it's money...what the hell is your problem? People are willing to give good input...leave threads alone if you're not.
Oh, and I didn't ask YOU for a names of shops, just to clarify. mad.gif ...man, i'm pissed...i want to come to wherever you are and hit you upside the head with some of my nice SS piping! Sorry, but I'm stressed out right now, and people like you drive me nuts.

Im just gonna run a 3" downpipe and the VES-assembly at ATP turbo

ATP exhaust valve

This seems to be the least restrictive without cutting down drivability at night around the nieghborhood, and cheaper then most full exhaust systems. Im also planning on getting some kind of nice tip from IPD or somewhere else so it looks good and I dont have some big jerk system sticking out.

Ok I found out exactly what you should do. Folllow these dirrections exactly.

1. gather all the pieces of piping and such that you have purchased.
2. put them back in the boxes or bags for proper protection.
3. now take them back to the store or person you purchased them from.
4. Ask for your money back.

They will ask why????

5. you will respond with "I am too f*cking stupid to own these and can figure out what to do with them or how to have them assembled:)

Your response makes you sound like a bigger dumb A-S-S then I already thought you were.

What do you think exhausts shops do? You act like what you need done is such a rare item. Any local exhaust shop or speed shop can weld, assemble, postion, and install your exhaust. And guess what....in LA, there are a whole phone book full of exhaust and speed shops. Tell you what, tell me the area in LA you are located, and I guarantee I can find at least 5 shops within a 25 mile radius that can easily do what you want.

Also, you seem so excited about your SS piping. It just shows you wasted money on something that is of no benefit to you living in LA. I will take your comment about wanting to hit me with your useless SS piping as a joke. You should be careful threatening people on the internet when you don't know what they look like and they live in the same area as you. monkey.gif

True.. it was clever, I'll give you that.. biggrin.gif but c'mon man.. we don't need to rip on people just for the sake of it.. If people just ripped on everyone cause they felt that they were ignorant, we'd never get around to talkin about Volvo's!

oh, so scared, you live in the same area, what am i to do?? anyway, the comment about the hitting you with my ss piping was a little too far, though your comment earlier did not set well with me...I am not here to piss people off, and no, i am not a dumba-s-s, so let's just stay away from that...i got ss piping because the guy was charging me the same amount, whether I wanted SS or aluminized, so if I am a dumba-s-s for taking ss, then guilty as charged, but admit that you would have done the same thing, even if we are in LA. And the reason I don't go to a phone book is because calling 10 shops and trying to figure out if they know anything about putting together a downpipe in a Volvo is just a waste of time...i figure if there are people here with experience with some exhaust shops and their volvos, then that much better...i can give that shop a call, and see what they can do...that's the only reason I have been on the exhaust topic so long...I went to San Pedro muffler, they said they couldn't even build a downpipe for my car, and they also said that 3" pipe would not clear the rear suspension...it is stuff like that which makes me look around for people who have done their exhaust at a shop that can do a Volvo w/o the b.s....i'll keep looking and posting my questions here, and I will do it ignoring comments like yours...good people are giving me good information, and I appreciate that, no matter how many times I ask about the exhaust....but really, if you know a place in LA, that can put together a downpipe from all this piping laying around, then I'll be happy to go there and see what they can do with it....
Aud1...I don't know how to put it together...if I did, then I wouldn't be on this forum...if I was an exhaust guru, then there would be no problem...

Anyway, all that said and done, I'll let you guys know who puts it together in January, and I'll let you know the place that I go to for smog...he should pass it for me with an AM cat, so let's see what happens....
