Stage 1 : Uses stock manifold(custom Machined to match up) , GT28RS, or the GT2871R. Internal Wastegate, water and oil fittings, RC 440cc injectors, Custom Vms Exhuast flange. 350Hp Kit.

Stage 2: Vms Custom Manifold, GT3071R Or "GT30R" , Tial 38mm external gate,All fittings,RC 550cc injectors,walbro 255lph pump, VMS custom downpipe,and Tuning Support. 450-500hp

Stage 3: Full Race Header made for fitment of the GT35R. Tial 40mm external gate, VMS custom downpipe, RC 650CC injectors,Twin 255lph pumps,Full Vms fuel system,Custom intake manifold.

This is a good base of what the kits will offer. Stage 1 is optimal on a health stock long block. Stage 2 requires a bottom end rebuild, and stage 3 requires a Full Race motor with Custom engine managment which hopefully we can offer, as time turns i will have more info on these kits. Stage 1 is avalible and prices are to come soon.

Cool deal... What is the deal for fuel/ignition and boost control for the first stage?

I can't believe there are actual "staged" upgrades for Volvos... And good ones at that smile.gif

Interal gate so you can use the stock BCS or a Electronic controller. Kit is deisgned to be used with tuning the stock ecu.

What are the prices?
And, if I get the Stage 1 (for starters), could it be rotated off the 850R onto a 98 C70? Also, what supporting mods (ignition, fuel, downpipe) are neccisary for the Stage 1? How involved is install / how complete the kit?

Prices TBA. I want to make sure i have everything for the kitting together so once i set a price it doesnt change. As for the stage 1 kit, the turbo will bolt onto the manifold, and is designed to work with the stock internals. As far as oil and water lines you may be able to use some of the same, but we would supply you with everything you need. Everything is designed to work without having to modify everything under the hood.

Rob, what kind of ecu remap/reprogram would need to be done? Im considering a Short Block (outside of GB) and a Stage 1, Possibly around 12/04 or 1/05. If it makes sense I can go RICA, and do the chiptuning through you as well? Shoot me a PM if you get a chance.

I know that this is jumping the gun alot but can you possibly give any very rough track time predictions for the stage 3 package with the full race motor?

And would the stock M56H transmission hold all of this power?

So this would include braided lines for the turbo?

I'm looking at stage II in the future. Problem is, I'll be looking at some downtime for my car because I'll have to sell my 19T, downpipe, and probably cat-back before I can afford to buy the kit.

I'm interested to see how the pricing goes, I might look at acquiring some pieces separately if I can find good used ones.

As far as boost levels i think 1.0 Bar to 1.3 Bar. Since the Stage 1 turbo will be stronger than the 19T you must be carefull. Stage 1 does require the basic bolts ons as well as the right tuning for high boost levels.

Stage 3 should be avalible first of the year if things go as planned. Stage 3 will require a clutch upgrade, and the standard M56H can be used. We are not yet sure of the limits of the M56H so i guess i will be finding that out. I will have more info on that kit next weeks as i get more progess done.

This would be a stage 2 setup with the GT3071R on a full VMS long Block. This is my motor so there a couple things different than what the stage 2 kit will offer such as our own style manifold, but this is a good idea of what your looking at for a stage 2 upgrade.

would the stage 1 spool faster than the 19t? What boost levels would you recommend for the stock block? what can be done to the stock block to ensure its safe, ie maintenance, etc...

Well on the GT28RS it is a BB turbo and max boost close to 3000rpm im sure. Sean has that turbo maybe he can comment on its spool time. As far as Boost levels i feel that 18psi is all that would be needed to reach a solid 300whp. A intercooler upgrade would be suggested with these kinda of boost and power levels. Tuning is where it comes into life of the rods and motor, put your time into tuning and your car will like you for it. Custom tuning by Upsolute or Rica is avalible
