Odell, I would suggest removing the bumper cover then temporarily mounting the ic in place with duct tape(or whatever works) until you find the exact location that works. Keep in mind you'll have to have room for the plumbing. Once you have the location, get the tabs welded to the IC, mock up the charge pipes, get them welded and you should be good to go.

If only it were that easy,Odell be ready for a good install. #1 all 3 (radiator, intercooler, condenser) all come out as 1 at least in my C70. Also you are going to to have to remove some ac lines possibly to get the charge pipe down to the inlet at least on mine. If hope you have took for the AC lines, but its not just a easy install and you will have to find somewhere to mount it. It just so happens my C70 was perfect for my intercooler and mounted up without any brackets. So take your time and let us know when you have everything out and ready to mount the intercooler.

Theres a black 850 with a t3/t04 turbo on cardomain.com. His site has some extensive pics of his FMIC install, it may help you check it out. Id get the link for you but cardomain is incredibly slow right now.

yeah, was just gonna tell u dr vic uses a different front spoiler..

anyway, i don't know why u already have condenser removed but not the ac and radiator.. but it isn't too difficult. it was actually more difficult to put the whole thing back with the est intercooler because it's thicker.. just a lot of doing things twice or more for me...so it shouldn't be too hard for someone with more hands on knowledge..probably just about anyone smile.gif.. http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?s...&hl=intercooler

Hey odell, have you removed your condensor yet? If so, how hard was it?

no it wasn't...just a lot of little things... easier if u have a friend to help too...

the thing is, the radiator also has a few things connected to it.. oil cooling line and tranny cooling line.. at least, that's what i think they are... u just have to find someway to plug them while they are disconnected... i didn't lose too much fluid in either, didn't have to add more. i did have to add a heck of a lot of coolant...man, esp since the light would come on after an hour or so driving.. after i added extra twice..

Yeah its in the haynes manual but since I have to depressurize the system anyways at a place I might as well get the whole thing taken care of right there.

But to the bottome line, did you notice any difference in boost with the intercooler finally exposed to open air?
