Hey all,

Tried to search.... couldn't find much. Anyway:

Exhaust options for s70 glt w/ ipd chip - TME/EST/BSR/custom? Whats better/worse, are they all the same, anyone tried more than one? Yada yada yada..

Spring options for same car w/ bilstein TC - TME/Eibach/H&R/EST/BG/Vogtland? Any preferences, problems, sugestions...

Thanks for the help, I'm new to all the fwd stuff....

Chris

Couldn't find much? biggrin.gif

Springs

Try these for starters. The search function can be tricky... it won't let you search for three letter acronyms. so you gotta be crafty.

Thanks for your help..

I saw the first post, but was more cuirous as to how the different springs compared to each other, maybe experiences between someone who had ridden in cars with Eibachs compared to BG? Or EST compared to Vogtland? Something along those lines...

Also, I already have a reflashed ecu, I was asking about how the aftermarket 2.5" exhausts compare. TME vs EST vs BSR.....

There seems to be lots of talk regarding one or the other, but no ones comparing them....

Well it's hard to "compare" them... I've only had the iPD one in my car, It sounds great... No problems with it at all... the only way to tell if one is "better" or not is to try different ones on your car... If you want a 2.5" exhaust on your car, and you want to save $$$ go have one built for cheap....
read this thread to reagarding building one yourself:

I would keep your foot off the gas if you have an ecu with stock exaust. I would go custom, as free flowing as possible if you dont mind the sound...

TorqueSteer....

"I would keep your foot off the gas if you have an ecu with stock exaust."

Care to elaborate? I've read that it was "recomended" to do both at the same time, but never heard of anyone having any actual problems....

Thanks,
Chris

It is recommended due to the extra heat generated. The turbo is boosting more, thus generating more heat to be pushed through that same diameter/restrictive exhaust as stock. Thus heating the motor more, etc.
