What copper tubing did you use, regular plumbing supply?I was also wondering how much manipulating I would have to do to secure the actuator - you example looks practical - you don't have any flex issues where it just sleeving the boost outlet nipple?I'm doing the same with the outlet flange - and again, yours helps me pre-plan just how short to make the initial step.Very helpful! :)

Yeah the copper tubing is just regular plumbing supply. As far as the actuator fitting is concerned, I did have flex when I was using that skinny bracket. I then switched to a steel bracket that was a good 3mm thick. Once I had that secured in, there was no flex at all, even with the other side resting on that boost outlet nipple.Nice write up and install. You ever dyno that thing Ben ?Thanks! No I never dynoed it, I gave up on benchmarking this car awhile ago. It keeps me happy on the street, so thats all that matters to me.

lookforjoe 2,702
Worked on the Wastegate actuator - drilled & tapped the housing to hold the actuator, capped the existing boost port, and made a new homemade nipple for one of the lower bolt holes.actuator alignment, clearance for outlet hosehaven't decided how to deal with the other mount point - I really need a boss tig welded to the compressor housing I guess I'll JB weld the bolt to the housing for now.
