looks like our indash flip out 7" LCD screen with built in dvd/cd/mp3 player may be made in time for our release.

think of a unit similar to an alpine iva-d900, orpioneer 6500dvd, with similar screen quality, similar sound quality but much much less

premilinary VS price will be around $750 hehe

I wish I had the cash for something like that of course I don't know what I would use it for or how to justify it... lol

here is a prelimiary design pic for ya, as you can see, nothing fancy, just designed to do what it is suppose to do well, with excellent video playback quality as usual

a few simple specs:

7" screen
336900 resolution
dvd/vcd/cd/mp3 player built in
full array of audio output and input, as well as video output and input
4x45 watts
2Volts preout
AM/FM tuner
built in TV tuner



retail on the unit will be in the low 1000 range, with a VS member price of $750 shipped

compare that at similar units from the big names ($1400-2000), and low end low quality units such as power acoustik or pyle ($1000-$1200)

you can see where we stack up

that is sickening man! what a great deal...i can probably get that after i finish up my exhaust in January...if the price is stable like that, an i have a good christmas, man i'm in.


oh, and any chance of you making XM ready ones?....like maybe with a Unilink connection or something?

Wow, beautiful I might be in on that if the VS price stays at the $750, its cheaper than the big guys used ones on ebay, and Id like to support a Volvo involved person.

hehe, currently, just remember we are just going for the performance of the video quality, and wont be having lots of extra features...(XM, navi, etc etc), but thsoe all can be added via other companies products...

so, just remember, a great screen, nice dvd play back, reliability and really godo customer service and warranty is what we got

once the things get off the ground, then we can go for more features and functions
