I don't think there would be any problem with making 400 hp with the lpt block. The cylinder wall thickness is still over .350 and that is pretty thick as far as cylinder wall thickness. The main thing would be to lower the compression a little and you will be OK

T3/T4E hybrid. 57 trim compressor wheel/50AR compressor housing/63AR turbine housing with a stage 3 wheel and 10lb adjustable internal wastegate bolted onto a stock manifold that I will have some fun with ph34r.gif

Now it's just a matter of sorting out who the heck is going to tune this blink.gif

Tuning shouldnt be a problem, Upsolute can do a very good job. Its more or less what injector do you wana go with and how are you going to controll the boost.

i'm pretty sure that belongs in a forum other than "performance modifications," maybe you have something technical to add to the discourse? that would be helpful.

No need to close it,shouldnt have posted it here, but anyways, Jesse we have a turbo you could use if you car to buy it that would bolt directly upto to the manifold but there are fitment issues. The turbo you are looking seems to be a good choice and should fit. Also we are going to make a downpipe adapter that maybe you would like so people can use the 4bolt outlet to adapt to the strate or angled. Just depends where placement of the exhuast outlet is. As for your choice of injectors i feel that is pefect for what you are wanting to do. Let me know when you are ready to install your pump, if its like my install the only thing that suck is the pump is a tad big in dia and its tuff to get it in the sending unit. After thats done we can make a new map from upsolute to start tuning on.

The only weekness which really isnt a weakness until you start making very high cly pressure is the thinner walls. Also the higher compression you can balance out im sure and run less boost to still achieve a final compression that you can run on pump gas as well as other methods of cooling. Cooling will be a good issue to work out as well as what kinda fuel you are going to be using.

so Rob, in your opinion, you can have a nicely powered S70 GLT motor with a turbo upgrade and all the usual mods?

The GLT badge is not for the motor, it's for the trim package. You can have a GLT with a Non turbo.

I know GLT sounds like it stands for "Great Little Turbo" but it doesn't. I'm not 100% on what it does stand for G, Lux, Touring, sometning like that.
