1. it is possible to mount BOVs on an s80T6.
2. The s80 uses parallel turbos (3 cyl per turbo), one intercooler for each? - I'm not sure on this, but you will need one BOV for each pressurized pipe system.
3. HKS SSQV is not modest, could be annoying to some, expensive - would not suggest in your situation. Greddy Type-S might be a good choice. I like mine.
4. The stock "BOV" equivilant vents the excess boost pressure back into the airbox when you let off the throttle. An aftermarket BOV like you are talking about will vent that pressure into the atmosphere, thus the (relatively) loud noise - much like you would hear from a semi.
Because the ECU thinks that all the pressurized air is still in the system, when you vent it to the atmosphere instead, the motor will run rich for a short time (because the ECU believes more oxygen is in the motor then there actually is. This can create a small period of reduced performance / and or back firing (if you have no cats).
This will not however hurt your motor. Mileage should be unaffected, performance should be almost exactly the same. In your situation it's a cosmetic mod. If you decide to run lots of boost or swap to a manual transmission, a BOV starts to make performance sense.
hope my garbled mumblings help
