Please give details on which pump you end up getting and how the install goes. I've heard lots of good things about the Walbro 255 lph intank pump. I just don't know exactly which one to get.

oh, and my tank leaks gas all over the place, and it's not a fp issue cuz it was doing it b/f i installed the new pump....Jesse said that this was an issue on someone's car that he knows, but is there a gasket or something in the neck that goes from the pumping inlet down to the gas tank...i think i'm losing over a gallon esp at high pressure, and even when i park the car after fillup, i see gas dripping!

It's always better to upgrade, and now you don't have to worry about it later if you upgrade turbo, etc. I also have the 255 Walboro Pump, still waiting to install that shiznit.

Why?
If you do not change the FPR nothing is going to change..
It just that you doubled the capacity of a stock ~400 hp pump..
You'll be heating up the return line..
