$5000???....dude, you can have a field day with that....start with a new turbo, downpipe and exhaust, and then get it chipped for starters....

then, or even first, do some suspension stuff...KW coilovers if you want to shell out, or just lowering springs, anti-sways...

intake....cone filter or K&N

dude, $5000 is a roomy budget

doug you've been wanting to rig up a T6. Here's your chance to do it vicariously. Tell this guy how to do it propa'.

Nobody around here has done much to the T6, can't wait to see what can happen for 5k, sheesh. That motor is stout.

Custom header, big turbo, custom exhaust, stand-alone system and bigger injectors.

With tuning, that would eat up $5000 pretty quick. And be monstrously fast.

It all comes down to what you want out of the car. All show, no go? Or do you want it do be a monster. 350hp is a reasonable place to stop on the stock bottom end. If you are looking into more than that then you will need a new motor. The basics can be done for around 5k. Wheels, tires, struts, shock, springs, intake, Full exhuast ecu upgrade. You might be able to do something like that for 5k.

I wanna say 268hp, 300 ft\lb torque, quarter mile around 14.5 and 0-60 in 7s.

The turbos aren't sequential, they're concurrent, and.... crappy. tongue.gif

it means it has 2 equally small NON UPGRADEABLE turbos spooling from 1.5L of motor each.

Chip, exhaust, stereo, shocks and wheels/tires. Thats wha tI would do.

They can be upgrades but you are going to take yourself into a complete project. 5K buget does not leave room for something like that.

chip + exhaust puts them around 320hp. i probably wouldnt want to add much more stress than that to the auto tranny.

here is my idea...
Get headers.(They can't be seperate, they need to bring the 3 cyls together)
Then get a BIG poking turbo, and bam there ya go. Then get a nice custom map, based on some dyno pulls, and your specs and I'm guessing you will have one BEAST of a car.

You bet smile.gif I think that would work awesomely though, with out a whole new engine, I mean boost would have to be serverly monitored, and a ECU custom reflash woudl be a MUST. But I think the gains yeilded would be very nice.
