My car is 2000 S70 2.0LPT @ 1.0bar, Because my car's boost is not high, I am afraid the backpressure will lose after I have installed the 3" down pipe.
1.Can I only replace the catalytic converter to race cat?
2.What race cat CAN NOT cause “Check Engine light” ON?

Thanks!

Who said you should go 3"???? a 2.5" system with a race cat will work fine
1) yes but, it wont do much if you dont replace the rest of the system, many cats out there wont throw you a check engine light, i personaly would go for this though

it's a turbo.. backpressure's not an issue.. the more free flow you have the better.

My friend's car is 2000 S70 LPT @ 1.0bar, he has changed BSR 3" down pipe. I feel the flow is smooth but the accelerated torque become small, especial from rpm 3000 - 4000. I think the LPT car don't need 3" down pipe, only change race cat to increase the flow.

I have check the ATR Web site and found the 2nd O2 sensor position is far than original. How do you fix it? Do you order a extension cable for it?

yes there is an o2 sensor kit for the cars, I'm sure someone else an offer more information in this regard.

Another thing... I have no cat or muffler on stock piping, a buddy of mine has stock exhuast, we raced and from a dead stop (no brake boosting/brake torqueing) we were right next to each other. I did not have more "lag" than he did because I was running without a cat or muffler. So, that whole "no backpressure" doesn't mean anything on a turbo car. The turbo is all the backpressure you will need.
