So I just had a piece of the o-ring from the oil dipstick go into the pan.
I drained the oil and it didn't come out. Is this going to be a problem? Obviously it's not going to get sucked up the oil pickup, I just don't like the idea of it in there.

Dont feel too bad, I had a leaf fall into the distributor hole on my Cutlass. I cant let that go, because if it gets sucked into the pick up tube it could ruin a fresh engine rebuild pretty fast
I would not worry about a piece of o ring. It will most likely just sit at the bottom of the pan and do nothing. Even if it gets sucked into the pick up tube, it wont get past that. Im sure it will come out with the oil one day.
