Point 2: I think the electoral college system is working just fine. Bush has majority of states and the popular vote. Seems to be working fine to me.
Point 3: No more Daschle thank god
Point 4: Even if Bush didn't win, atleast the house/senate have become a bit more to the right.

Kids were doing that in my sociology class last week, I found it sooo ridiculous. My school was like 89% Kerry 11% Bush.

The only thing that disturbs me is that California and N.Y. have huge amounts of Electoral votes compared to their size. This is mostly due to a few major cities. You can lump Texas in there as well, but at least they have the land to back it up. Basically almost any Democrat starts with 107 (CA, N.Y. and super corrupt Illinois) electoral votes. If you took out Texas, California, and N.Y. then things would be a lot more interesting. Or at least split their votes like Maine can. This would break up the sure lock 55 'blue' electoral votes.
