Price wise it probably works out as yellows are 150 cheaper than FSDs are 150 cheaper than KW (Including the anti sways obviously).

have you considered the IPD Springs? 1.75 drop is a lot better. Why no IPD Sways with the Coilovers?

if you just want LOW, then go KW, but the ride is much harsher.

if you want a good stance, and the ability to adjust firmness, and not too much bounciness, then the Koni Yellows with B+G is for you....i've ridden in a car with that combo several times, and I have to say that it is one of the best combo's of suspensions i've experienced....i thought it was even better than the Weitech's

Not too sure about the FSD, but I can tell you that I despise the Eibach springs for our cars.

I have been very not happy with my Eibachs and FSDs. I had yellows before the FSDs and as soon as I can get these off im going back. I have ipd sways and hd endlinks with both setups and the yellows are much better.

KW's are vastly less comfortable, yet also vastly better in corners. There's no comparison. So depends what you're after really.

Thanks to everyone who posted! It has been a big help and I appreciate your opinions. I had recently tried to purchase some of the "cheaper" coilovers but they were from an unreliable source overseas and so that didn't happen.

$2.5k for kw (for suspension and complete steering and suspension overhaul) is a fair bit of cash on a car of not a lot of value and will these konis really beat my stock suspension that much to be worth $2k? If I slap on IPD anti-sways on the stock 850R suspension do I already match the koni upgrades?

I'm to the stage where I start thinking kw is the only option if i want the best for the car lol

I actually need to measure the gap between the wheel well and the tyre. Oh and probably a side on pic to show the gap correctly. Currently I have the 205/45/17 Pirelli PZeros on there. That's actually quite a slim tyre and there only seems to be 1-2" gap.

Perhaps we got different suspension to US specs too?

Hey Bro!
Go for the koni yellows and the b&g. Save the cash from the kw and spend it on some more go-fast-bits! You know that's what I'm gunna do! (unless I can get a set of ipd springs into Australia at a reasonable price- not likely tho!)

STD Suspensions makes a cheaper quality coilover kit, it's about $800 US cheaper than kw's.

Anyone on this board try the S1 setup? I'd lke to see the drop and hear their opinions.

I voted FSD/Eibach/IPD sways, buts that's just because its what I have.

^^^Not that great.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

I might have to inquire about about the STD coil-overs then. If they are that well priced then I think they would certainly be worth a try smile.gif

It really depends what power level your car has the coilovers will always be the best route even if its just a road car i used to have fsd and eibachs on my 854 and thought they where great until i tried to put 535 hp through them laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif after changing to Kw race spec varient 3 two way adjustable the car is superb and can handle the power so much better smile.gif
