Dan2286 0
Do any of you with dark tint in the back windows have any problems seeing when backing up if it's dark out?
Young Burnsy 31
Do any of you with dark tint in the back windows have any problems seeing when backing up if it's dark out?Of course, tint blocks light. <-- Just like sunglasses.
tsuehpsyde 29
Just my opinion, but I think staggered tinting looks kinda silly. I say keep it the same for all 5 windows. Mine are tinted, but it's not mega dark. But it definitely helps in the Texas sun (it's whatever the legal limit is, since I bought it that way and it has numbers signifying the installer on the glass).

BAREASS 0
15(13.8)% side windows, 5% rear. My friend's car next to me has 35% all around.
ggreen67 3
Go 20% all-around. Its the sweet-spot of car tint :)
tsuehpsyde 29
I had my car inspected today and I think mine's 35% (came across as 36-37% from the reader). It looks pretty good (like the picture above). However, if I ever redo it, I'll do either 25 or 20% since 20% is the legal limit here in TX.
