Ok, so I am moving into a new apartment where I cannot take my car. It will have to sit for AT LEAST 12 months in my neighbors driveway.

The car is in great condition and only has 91k miles on it.

165 - 165 - 165 - 165 - 165 Compression done by Volvo Dealership

In the last 1k miles I have done this...

ALL OEM

Blue Coolant Flush

Water Pump

Timing Belt

All pulleys

All tensioners

PCV Done

Stage Zero (Spark Plugs, Wires, Dizzy Cap, Rotor, etc.)

New antenna Mast

OEM Remote (I have never seen this before) for Stock stereo WITH 6 Disc Changer

All Season Mats and Summer Mats

Mods

EST Intake

VDO Boost Gauge

Euro Turn Signals

Things That Need Fixing

Inner Tie Rods ($100 in parts) 2 hours labor

Parking Brake Expander broke ($30 part) 1 hour labor

Rear R Spoiler needs repaint

I am asking for $9k with either the Volans with 215/45/17 tires or Comets with 215/45/17 tires

$9,500 for everything including both sets of wheels.

Kelly Blue Book is $8,265

People will tell you all kinds of crap on this site about it being worth $5k. Its a nice car and there aren't a ton of them out there with your mileage. I think you're probably looking at an $8k car. $8500 w/ both sets of wheels What is the 427 reference?

427 is the color code of the car.

There are 427 854Rs out there but not made with US-Spec. I have been told by Volvo NA, Volvo UK, Volvo Sweden that there was only one 427 854R with US Spec made... and this was verified by the VIN.

for what its worth....

this car is absolutely mint

i would say that this car is worth the money to the correct person.... like a car collector....but to a volvo enthusiast that just sees it as a low mileage clean 850R....maybe not quite as much, but still just as much as any 850r should sell for.

Dave keep it, you'll kick yourself in the ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD down the road if you get rid of it.

Sell the s70 or the 940, or both but keep that R.
