so i found a magna-filter pre oil filter, and im curious if it will be worth using?
it screws to the block where the oil filter screws on, then you screw the filter to it. it is a magnetic device, and im just wanting to make sure it wont impede the oil flow and harm the engine.
do you think it would be better to use one of these, or one of the magnets you just stick to the side of the filter and you can use for ever? all discussion welcome.

Get the magnetic drain plug, that will help to catch a lot of shavings and crap, you'll be surprised the first time you drain your oil with one of those in there... whoa boy.
It might be worth a shot, but I'd just get the drain plug if I were you.
