not to sound like a jurk but why would i want that? there are plenty of x70's localy for that price range....
i put an offer of $1500 on the s70,a few hours ago, she will let me know by the weekend if she accepts. after that i will have to decide which one to sell.

If the accord is in good shape, you may be able to make money selling it if you get that NA for under $2k.
Good deals always come up...I only paid $3400 for my 98 T5M and it was in very good condition. Just needed some plugs and IC hoses.
Figure out what you want your fleet to be and then ask yourself...is it worth selling what you have???

sorry this is just bolt on bolt off stuff
hood , rad support headlights. done.
maybe you should spend more time in the body shop understanding what really goes on under the hood of your volvo.
and a S60R for $4k is going to need a min of $4-5k worth of work .
and probally frame pulling and such, and wont have a clean title where this one does.
Hey again doesnt matter to me but make sure you really understand whats going on in these cars.

To the OP, if I were you, I'd ask the wife since it's her car. Unless you like the couch.
I personally wouldn't want either an N/A Volvo or an '94 Accord. And if it is really dirty looking, what are the chances that it was actually taken care of? People who don't wash their cars probably also don't change timing belts, oil, shocks, etc, etc.

is the list a long one on who you scammed?
is it in the exotic section on craigslist.com/harrisburg
here's a excerpt of Justine's ad
"It takes a woman about a thousand words and a condom to get laid on Craigslist. But for a woman to be laid properly -- by a passionate lover who knows what he's doing -- well, that's a whole different ball game.
We are both middle-aged women who have spent the past 11 months sleeping around Craigslist. At an age when most women were sending their firstborns off to college, we found ourselves -- through chance and circumstance -- single, tumescent and ripe for adventures. Those adventures have spanned 10 counties and four states and involved roughly 45,000 e-mailed words, 27 phone calls, 36 face-to-face initial dates and 13 actual lovers -- and re-aggravated our carpal tunnel syndrome from all the typing.
Years before embarking on Craigslist, both of us had experienced sexual abandonment. We were both hungry for intimacy and physical touch after years of wandering in the desert. Our lives were on similar trajectories."

jaime if he can deliver it as is, that car is a great car and ill help you fix it.
and the non turbo is a great car as far as 850.. less maintenance if you ask me, mostly cause of the lack of turbo, i had 4 of them and i loved every one of them.

Now to the OP: do you want to work on your cars or not? I actually enjoy doing regular work, something that comes with a used car especially a used european car. If you prefer not to work on anything and just leave things as they are and, wait till they break then keep the accord and ditch any other euro car you may have. Plain and simple really

Better make sure a solid, domestic, base model mini van is sharing the driveway next to it. And I say driveway because an accord driver doesn't use a garage. That's where they keep the crap they've accumulated over the decades.
Bland, tasteless utilitarian transport for the masses. yay.
It's either you're a die hard Honda guy, or not interested in cars what-so-ever.
I'm not saying "buy a Volvo," just put your money where your heart is.
