Anyone used these folks? Was wondering how they might compare to Volvo Specialists or any of the other shops listed here...

I don't recommend Nicks. I took my old 850 there a few times because the previous owner had it maintained there. My only reason is that I had my RMS replaced and paid $2,000 for it. That was fine with me, but driving it home the AC didn't work. So I took it back the next day, let him know that it was A-OK before the RMS service because I used it while driving down to drop the car off. He said he would look into it. He called the next day to tell me the coolant gas was below pressure and that was why it didnt work. I asked him why it worked ok before the RMS and he said, and i qoute "Listen, the gas pressure is low, it needs to be filled up, thats it. If you don't believe me I can spend your money however you want." So i got pissed, told him to just refill it, 2 weeks later it was out again.
Long story short, when doing the rms they had pinched an AC line by the compressor and it was leaking. But he wasn't willing to really look into it after i had just spent 2000 bucks with him (which is a lot of money to me).
But my parents have also taken their volvos there though and not had issues.

I have also had bad experiences both times I went, haven't been back since. I REALLY like Platinum Auto service, run by Jim Tyerech and Sean Conway. Very honest, nice, and excellent repair work. I am in Arvada, but am willing to drive to them over all the other places in the Denver metro area. Swedish motors has one mechanic I trust, Ron Thompson, but that is the only other person I would trust with my car. Platinum Auto Service is at 3768 Norwood Dr., Unit C, Littleton, CO 80125. Phone number is 303-471-1939
I highly recommend them.
