Hey everyone,
I've got an '01 S60 T5 with a manual transmission on it's final legs. I'm interested in picking up either a new or used M56LK (direct swap) or being a tad adventurous and throwing in a FWD 6-spd with the M66W.
Does anyone know where to get one? I'm located near Toronto, ON.

there was a dude on V70r.com parting out a 04v70R. it has the 6sp. not sure if he sold it yet.

I was under the impression that the AWD variant wouldn't work as well as the FWD version found in 05+ S60s and S40/V50 FWD.

I am hunting for a tranny to swap into my S70 right now. I will keep my eyes peeled for something for your car.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. My transmisison is leaking fluid pretty intensely right now, and pops out of gear on anything north of 4K. Don't think it's drivable anymore. *sigh* There are a couple of M56LK in California, but 1100US and then dealing with shipping and brokering may knock the price out of the park.
If I go with the M66W route, would anyone know what I should be looking to pay for shifter/cables/solenoid?
