Was rebuilding my odometer gear, when I noticed on circuit board there are moose etched in solder.


Sorry, no pics at the moment, lost sync cable

Anyone else seen this,

It puts new life on prancing moose story we have all heard.

My car is a 96 850 turbo Fyi
96 850 (412) wagon W/2 racing seats no rear seats, ..Converted to M56h with Quaife. R clutch,Kw v2 coilovers, qbm end links,Ipd sways,strut and shock braces/ Front/rear lower Ultra racing chassis braces. Team Dynamic 17in rims 17lbs .Poly mounts on trans, engine and firewall.Porsche Bbk, Ss lines, Super Blue Ate.5mm Spacers,Rolled Fenders,R Manifold, T04E 50 trim @18psi. Divorced WG and BOV ,3in Downpipe, gutted 3in cat,2.5 tme/Ipd catback Gizzmo Ebc, 1 gallon Aem progressive Meth Injection kit. Walbro 255. Na mani W /960 plate and Na Silicone Tb hose. Boost/egr/wideband gauges dash mounted. Double Din touchscreen Nav. 12in Fosgate p3 and 2 Alpine amps/ + Cf spoiler+ V70 stuff.

Makes one wonder, how the moose really got started.

I have done a few odometers and I guess either did not notice or not all have it.

mine doesn't have mooses :( And the board itself looks different. Maybe its year specific?

ohwhatthehell....i was telling people about this like, a year ago lol. I took pictures but never posted them up though.... :rolleyes: I flipped out when I saw it though, it's really cool!

I was trying to use an n/a cluster for my turbo car to get rid of the boost gauge, but the circuit boards are different, as well as the orientation of the needle...motors??...pots?? idk what they're called lol.

LMAO :)

That's how I discovered it. Switching around instrument turbo clusters with Na to get rid of boost gauge.
I had to switch my odometer in and a few other adjustments to use the Na cluster.

why not just swap the whole cluster and swap the odo too? thats what i did and then i swaped the yazaki glass over that since the yazaki cluster wont work in 96+
