I saw a silver V70R, lowered w/rims driving north on 599, heading to 1st Ave S bridge. I see stock Volvos in West Seattle all the time, but rarely do I see them with any mods.

Oh, also saw a silverish 242GT groupe G spec racecar.

^_^
You sure it wasn't a 244 in disguise?

I saw a silver lowered 245 with a roof rack and bike trays on I-5 north at about Federal Way yesterday around noon.

It looked nice... but I was in a hurry to get to a job interview and I do not think the driver noticed me.

Dang man, really? I'm about to live a mile from that Safeway. My sister lives a few blocks from there too, in her silver 854.

I'll show up in the new whip sometime soon.

Yeah, it's there on the right a LOT. Guy works at the Mexican store on 20th I think. Next to the BECU. I've thought of leaving him a note several times. You probably didn't drive by our shop per se. We're aaaaall the way at the end of the dead end. If you get to our shop you've probably gone too far for where you wanted to be. LOL.

I saw an absolutely gorgeous white debadged S70 with ABM's, sidemarkers and tint in Totem Lake today. Had rims too, but I couldn't tell what they were because it was moving. Car looked damned near new though.

That's the one! You obviously take really good care of that car. It shows. I drove past you in my dirty blue '98 T5 5-speed. Got her cleaned up today and she went home with her new owner about an hour ago :( . Good thing I have another, even nicer '98 T5M in my stable! What have you done to your car beyond the cosmetics?

Yea I saw that car! Why did you get rid of it? (other than having a T5M)

I bought it over a year and a half ago and it needed some work, suspension was blown out, wasn't running incredible and I brought her back to life.
I got Voxx MGs on there.
ABM headlights, Black eggcrate grill.
Interior is practically perfect.
JVC stereo with Rockford Fosgate subs.
Muffler delete with resonator. (Work done by mufflerking)
Lowered on IPD springs with IPD spring seats, Bilstein TCs struts & Shocks, New upper strut mounts, inner/outer tie rods, new control arms, EST upper strut brace, new upper engine mount, new endlinks.
Just did the timing belt/water pump, PCV, Neutral safety switch.
I feel like I'm missing something, but I think thats pretty much everything.

I'm actually looking to sell it here soon.

I really need a wagon for hauling the dog and other stuff around. My girlfriend drives my old '98 XC, but it's always so loaded with her junk. That's really the only reason I sold it. Well...that and the fact that it's kind of redundant to have two T5M's around. I almost bought a '98 V70 T5M the same day I bought the blue car, but it was just too beat up for what they were asking for it. Sounds like you've done some good work to your S70. What engine does it have, and how many miles? My dad might be in the market for a car soon. Wait...is it an auto or manual?

So Adam, before I randomly show up to your work. Do you guys do bodywork? and if so, do you want to give me an estimate for the repairs my car needed?

We don't do bodywork. I can give you contact info for a body shop I recommend or if it's not horrible I have an amazing paintless dent repair guy I use.

Its actually going into another bodyshop today, though the quote was a bit overbudget, so the rear bumper isn't getting painted (oh well it'll actually buff out). ^_^
