I must admit it is harder to spot an XC then it is a yellow wagon (Volvospeed banner was supposed to come off a while ago but it has kinda grown on me) - took me a second to recognize you! Car is looking sharp - like the license plate lights - LED?

I kinda' like the banner. It's big, but it looks good, considering your car isn't exactly inconspicuous...being a bright yellow volvo and all! Thanks for the complement on the XC. It's so dirty right now, but I've been plugging away doing maintainance and upgrades here and there. Oh...and yeah...the license plate lights are white LED's. I think there's something wrong with the sockets on the car though...or maybe they're designed for Euro plates, because the lights actually point to either side of the license plate

Yeah, you can't ezactly "hide" when you are driving a yellow Volvo so might as well advertise for for VS right? The license plate lights are for sure designed for euro plates - true even on my '68 GT - outsides are illuminated but the center is kinda dim...

Weird...I have white LED's on my S70 and they light up the license plate much better than on the wagon

Well, not an 850 T5R, but I saw a nice White 850 Turbo or T5,
driving by 85th and 132nd earlier tonight.
It looked real clean and smooth, possible lowered?

I suppose if you have seen one yellow wagon, you have seen them all... Spencer has a black rear wing, motorsports stickers in the quarter glass and is running 18" Pegs - both have OSD plates. I'll be a XXX but not in that car more likely then not - Spencer should be out there though. I'm bring my '68 out and my wife should have her '97 R there.

Either way it's still a treat to see one at a show, let alone in the wild. Looking forward to the XXX, I just hope the new '97 R will still be in good health...
