Just a heads up for those of you who own a 2000 -2002 (as I do) that has the dreaded upside down oiler valve. Rob @ Scanwest Autosport in Seattle Washington has been having Great success Rebuilding these trannies. My wife's 02 XC goes in as soon as he get's back from vacation. I have No tie's to this company I own Complete Collision, Scanwest Autosport is a seperate entity of it's own. They are willing to service Volvo's. & if your unsure about the service you'll receive get on Saabcentral.com or Saabnet.com & read for yourself. anyway, this was just a FYI because I was dreading having my tranny done at the stealer for upwards of 5000.

Do yourself a favor & check them out. From my understanding they'd like to take on Volvo's, but Volvo is VERY tight lipped about there repair manual's, tool's ect. . .

Hope this help's, ..........Dave
