Brand new TD04-HL 16T with 0 miles, not a rebuild. It's new old stock. Was dug up in the back of some old volvo parts dealer. Was going to use it because my stock turbo is getting on in age, but decided to save up for a GT series. Asking $500 shipped.

UPS dropped a 16T on my doorstep today. What a welcome sight to see when I came home a little early. Now all I need to do is schedule some time in the country and in town to actually swap the damn thing out again.
Measuring the play (or lack thereof) between this shaft and the shaft on my 13g and 15g shows almost no difference between the three. I guess they just dont wear out much or they've been taken care of in the past.

Hopefully this one will pep up my V70GLT more than the 15g did.

That being said, anybody interested in my 13 or 15 when I get it swapped? O need a 98T5A ECU to throw in the V next and some injectors to match. Swap injectors and ECU for a turbo anyone?

Anyway, looks like a great deal on this 16T. Jon was easy to deal with, prompt to communicate, and quick to ship. I would recommend him to anyone and deal with him again in a flash. Good review. Thanks again.

Going from 13G to 15G is a much bigger upgrade than 15G to 16T.

You'll find out soon enough.

I figured a brand new 16T along witht he injectors and ecu out of a T5 would probably bring my GLT close to the same performance as my T5M.

You got a nice deal on this turbo! The 15g to 16T isn't a big difference but using the T5M ECU and ECU correct injectors will give you a nice upgrade whether you used the 15g or 16t - always nice to have a new turbo.
B Mac: "Guess what? Remember my new heater core?"
Me: "Yea."
B Mac: "It smells like dead rat again."

98 V70 AWD Manual: Wothrlined ECU, angled 15G turbo, White injectors, EST Intake, R Manifold, TME Downpipe, TME Exhaust, IPD Swaybars + HD endlinks, Volvo Strut Brace, Öhlins Roadholding Suspension + Springs, 302mm Front Rotors and Vented R Rears, SS Brake lines, E-spec C70 Jewels.

I thought so!

Too bad it was three days after I threw the used 15g upgrade on it :( I would've saved my knuckles and back for one shot at it instead, but such is life <_<
I figure a nice tight brand new turbo plus the other stuff should get it close to the same as my T5M. cept the M of course. That and I have my 2003 C70 jewels, corners, and grill, and HID's headed this way too. One day I'll be finished with the V.

You'll notice the GLT with 16T on T5 tune will actually be faster then your T5 since it has higher compression and more displacement. It'll have a lot quicker low end pick up too. Btownvolvo's GLT w/ a 16T beat my T5 at the track
