Have a list of skin changes, quota changes, and misc DB changes I plan to push this afternoon. Gonna go make lunch for for a run then come back and start backing up the board and pushing them out. Expect 30-45 minutes of downtime as this will be a complete backup. For those of you on late at night, 01:00est, you know what to expect when the board backs up.

I think everything is back up and I addressed all the major concerns. Quota issue on the rep system was addressed and I changed the justification on some of the pages. Overall speed, especially with the searches should be faster. I think I have addressed all the issues with MSIE8 at this point. MSIE7 should at least work now and screw MSIE6.

Did you fix the bad CSS/HTML problem in threads? Where you just get long blank parts of the thread before seeing anything? (I'm on IE7)...

Also RE: IE6 - take this with a grain of salt but it's still being used widely (obviously numbers are going down though):

I have IE8, cleared all my cookies, any suggestions?

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

Im on IE7 and I do get the huge blank spaces at the end of posts. A 1-page thread turns into 50 (blank) pages on IE7.

Plus it hangs when you try to open certain threads.

No, I won't upgrade to IE8, it feels just as retarded as using vista.

My profle drop down is now always open, and the quick reply is bigger than it probably should be.

IE is getting on my nerves more and more .....

My drop down menu is also stuck open and my post editor is missing all the options that normally appear above the text field. Clearing the cache doesn't seem to help.
