This database is intended as a quick way for people to view wheels available for their car and photoshop them on to their own car if they wish. If you have the means to help out it would be very appreciated. As the project grows I will update this thread with thumbnails for rapid identification and location of wheels. Requirements for the database are:

1. Wheels must be 1000px in height with a straight on shot. 3/4 and additional shots are nice but not required.
2. Image needs to be a .png with an alpha background.
3. Images need to be uploaded to the wheel gallery,http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?app=gallery&module=cats&do=sc&cat=5, and have the word "PSready" in the title.

Example:

If you wish to make a submission just reply in this topic with the name of the wheel and a link to the location you uploaded the file. A moderator or myself will update the list above and then remove your post in the interest of keeping clutter down. Any questions may be posted here and will be added to a FAQ at the bottom of the thread. All other post will just be deleted.

FAQs

What is "alpha background?"

White?

Alpha is transparent. It allows images too be photoshopped in with very little additional modification. Photoshop, Gimp, Corel, Trident or pretty much any program will support an alpha background and a png file extension

Fixed that for you, Chuck.

Delete away ...

Thanks. Also anyone who cannot make an alpha layer image just email it to me and I will handle it for you.

Can the links be updated to actual pics and maybe an updated aftermarket wheel list?
Not a very useful stickey with broken links.

Depends on what tire and what offset rim. If its currect center bore and bolt pattern it will bolt right on. It may opr may not run with tires installed depending on the tires you go with and the offset.

What happened to the database. All those rim options suck (except comets). I want to pimp my XC70, what shoes to put on!

Burn-E had posted a link a couple of years ago to a PDF of a Volvo OEM Wheel poster. It shows 72 wheels from appx 1992 to appx 2004 and their names. I have access to the actual printed version of it, and on the back of it is a list of all the wheels, their sizes, and part #. If it helps, I'll scan the list and post it. I think the thread that Burn-E posted the link in is something like "Volvo OEM Wheel Poster"

2001 V70 XC, 44,000 miles, Black/Beige, Wifes wheels
2000 S70 ASR N/A, 184,000 miles, Silver/Graphite, Daughters wheels, Xemodex, Rear spoiler,
2000 V70R, 110,000 miles, Emerald(Olive) Green/Graphite, Sons wheels, Father and son project car. 2002 2.4LPT, 19T, Greens. Delco BCS, VDO boost gauge
