My neighbor has a nice 87 NA 5 speed with black interior for sale. $3000 obo...
... be sure to get the VS option package.
Will do.
My new cell/cam hasn't come in so you are stuck with more crappy photos.
The Paint cleaned up well.

Before and after.

Only did parts of the car. What was polished still needs to be washed and waxed, but you can see where this is going. Going to refinish that roof trim and the exterior this week then start on the carpet. That sums up most of the free work. Then I got's to spend monies
I ran the codes before the rain hit. Holy Sh*t, like 15 codes! This is going to be fun.

I see you aren't familiar with all the popular exterior paint restoration products. "Mothers Cleaner Wax" is a wax AND a polish. It removes light oxidation and gets a good shine. For spots like the hatch that more thoroughly oxidized "Mothers Sealer and Glaze" moves up a step. Great products!
Get a buffer and some real polish if you want to bring that paint back.

A bottle of Turtle Wax Colour Cure Polish and Turtle Wax Hardshell Wax isn't really all that expensiveLooks like its working pretty good to me. But I'll shoot you my pay pal and you can send me cash. Thanks in advance.
If you look a the link I posted, that was when I detailed the car without a buffer.

V4vle moved to CT recently and was kind enough to drop off a very clean Auto transaxle for a sweet price.
Hopefully I'll get around to swapping it, in a couple weeks. Then the fun stuff starts!
PS. It's nice not having a car that's rusting everywhere.

Got around to swapping the transmission (another 94 auto). Car now moves in both forward and reverse directions. Fancy.
Going to do a tune up and give it a good cleanup this week. Another 850 saved from the garbage can.

I would absolutely turn to Travis (Mesoam) for paint care tips, he does have more experience than many people on this site.
Either way: it's great to see another wagon getting this kind of treatment, keep the updates coming, I'm interested to see how things turn out.

Plus I didn't want to make my buddy bring the lift, since that would mean driving his Impreza wagon instead of riding his Ninja on those beautiful days.

There is a 4 stage process that I will start this weekend for a propper shine, plus some touch up on the leading edge of the hood.
