got a kind of a stupid question.. i popped off the caps where switches are supposed to be around my steering wheel and the shifter and i've noticed almost every one of them had a harness behind them.. is it possible to install the heated switches and other switches in there?

what kind of a car do you have?
i know 850 and x70 have most of the harness installed
depending on what accessory you want; it might need additional work other then switches to make it work

for the heated seats youd need to put the heated pads in the seats and wire those up i believe
so its more then just the switch...
(i might be able to get all the peices at my JY if you want to try)

Confirmed. Sadly, you can't just hook up a switch and have heated seats. However, depending on your car the wiring may be factory installed, making your life a lot easier if you really do want to install these options yourself.
