Went to the drag strip for the second time last night after the motor rebuild, and what a night. Here's the results. The car was 2mph faster than the first time I took it. Changed my shifting points from 6k RPM to 5500RPM to keep it more in its powerband, plus the evening was cooler than the first time. My 60' times continue to kill me and prevent me from being a 13 second car!!

1/4 ET = 14.0858
1/4 MPH = 105.89

Reaction = .0431
60' ft = 2.3039

Very nice! With that trap speed, you have the potential to be well into the 13s...I can't wait to take my car again, it's been almost a year now. How much boost are you running? And how much boost is it holding to redline?

I have the IPD Stage I ECU which is supposed to be 15psi, but I also have the IPD HD TCV which I didn't break in properly so the ECU would "learn" it. I'm screaming down the track holding steady at 17/18psi. I've got LGSpeed H beam rods, so not worried about rods bending. I'm also running 100 octane gas, pretty much that's all I run now. 13s are definitely there, if only for my 60' times.

Ahhh, I see. The gas will def. make a nice difference! Where do you get 100 Octane from anyway, and for how much?

The Gas City stations around here carry it, and its $5.99 a gallon. Yes, it makes for expensive trips back and forth to work.

LOL, you use it for everyday use?? That's a bit unnecessary IMO...just keep it for the track. ;)

Save yourself some $ an install a WI kit.
I got the same trap speed when injecting windshield washing fluid as I did running race gas only.
