I figure this because a 2005 stock g35 runs a 14.6, and i ran a 14.1 stock with my t5m
Sorry to all the people who are still trying to get their money back.

That interesting 1998 Volvo S70 T5 6.4 14.9

Not starting anything, but I think your numbers are off a little bit?

Hell my 94 850t was rated at 15.3 out of box / ran a 13.8 with just a K&N filter B)

We are planning on replacing the nuts ;)

those nuts are the wrong kind of nuts for your application.

you do not need tuner style nuts on there where the lug bolts are exposed to the elements.

you may get "frozen" lugs over time since water and dirt can get into the lug nuts.

replace then with some acorn style nuts with a tuner key that goes on the outside like these.

Now that`s a great idea! Tuner nuts are nothing but trouble.

awesome, i was about the buy a g37s or a 2007 g35 coupe...or an s2000

I had second thoughts when i was driving once and came across a mustang and g37s doing some pulls in a rural area around where i'm stationed in central cali.
the mustang was a beast off the line, while the g37s proved itself to be a true pig/GT car. He got the jump off the line, but from a roll, especially from 80 to 120, the s70 t5m took him by about a car length.
I was surprised, and a bit disappointed by the 330 hp of the g37s...too much weight i guess. 19s don't help either.
I hope i don't get gagged for this post...i assure the mods that i was more likely to run into a tumbleweed than a car where we were at.

the g37s driver was a huge guido douche too. which i'm sure you're not because you're coming from a volv :)
i like the interior of the G, enjoy that. keep this board posted with the reliability of the G...i troll their forums and i hear about some minor and major issues that deter me from infiniti.
i'll be all over the next gen G when they throw direct injection into that engine...and hopefully shrink the overall dimensions of the thing--although that's quite unlikely.
Past cars:
1998 V70 AWD
1998 S70 T5M
Still like Volvos, just not driving one at the moment.

I never left Volvo, the G is my wife's car
I know what you mean about the 300 hp deal, my 850t would eat this thing. However, driving and handling of this car is way better than the 850t. Another thought is it's 10 years newer

I drove it at lunch, tires are so much quieter then the crap Hanook's that were on it prior. Brakes are the same, AWESOME!

As an Infiniti tech, i will say keep an eye on the brakes, if they go metal on metal you are SCREWED!! rear rotors are around $500 each. They tend to eat pads and tires, as there is no way to adjust front caster/camber. But as long as you take care of it, the car will run forever, maybe not as long as the volvo, but for a good long time. good buy, lots of fun to drive. not so good in the snow though ;)

i just noticed the cross drilled rotors, my bad

MMMM, nice little pickup. I almost bought one instead of the T5, the Volvo just felt a little more stable. Love the cars though.

The G came with a full set of Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted on another set of mags :)
However we have come to know you need ride height to get through the snow here in the winter, so it's getting parked in about a month. My wife drove a Integra RS prior to this car and we had no luck in selling it for what we wanted so we kept it! Now in hind sight it was very smart B) G for summer, Integra for winter. We have rented a 10' x 20' secured entry garage across from my shop to store the vehicles, very handy!

The Winter Beater! Ok not so much a beater

there was something else i wanted to tell you about them but now i cant seem to remember. ok i sat and thought for a min and remembered, do not, i repeat, DO NOT use an aftermarket air filter, not even an aftermarket paper one to be safe, the MAF sensors are EXTREMELY touchy and love to fail when you use anything other than a factory Nissan filter. I would rather spend the extra coin on a nissan air filter every 15,000 miles (rec. change interval) then drop around $200 on a MAF.

Thanks for the tip ;)

The big talk on the G forum is Z pipes for the G. Plan on keeping it stock, other than the already upgraded exhaust. It sounds incredible. It really gets the looks.
