I really don't have anyone I know that has the kind of cd player I like, so I just need some info any actual owners may have..
I want a double din unit with (possibly) navi, 2 RCA outputs, and a detachable faceplate.
I absolutely need a secondary subwoofer controller.
My Xplode unit has it and I love it.
My past units only controlled bass collectively.
My Xplode unit controls bass (for the speakers) and SUB (for the subwoofer) as a secondary control.
Whatever the make/model of cd player, this is my realistic request.
And RCA outputs.
Thanks guys
John

Does everything...
This meets all your requirements, but costs a bit...kinda surprising that detachable faces are so uncommon, but then the chance of them getting trashed while you're carrying them around must be high. They're a lot cheaper on Amazon, but then you don't get the install kit & the support, if you need it.

And you are absolutely sure that "bass" and "sub" are two subsidiary Eq controllers?
Yea these are a lot cheaper on other sites, but we will see.
Thanks

The website says it has front, rear, and sub outputs, which means that the subwoofer has its own preamp output and therefore is controlled separately.

just about any hu with a dedicated sub rca output will have sub control. in addition, some class-d sub amps have a separate volume knob that u can purchase separately that will allow u to physically adjust volume of the sub connected to it rather than thru the hu
something like alpine's rux-4180

Yea.
This unit is really nice and sleek.
But I would not take having 2 sub outputs as the end all be all of controlling the subs.
Pioneer head units control subs (from the front and rear sub output) with the Eq function "Bass," although, you will be adjusting the bass in the component speakers as well - which is what I am trying to stay away from.

Yea, my friend had one of those.
Its nice.
But I would rather control it from the unit itself if I were to pay over $200 for a single unit.
This is just for me to gather some info and look into different options.
I have a head unit that I will be using in my new t5, so I will not be without my subs
But probably around Christmas time, I will be seriously looking into getting a new unit.
