So I've decided that the intake and exhaust manifolds I've got laying around are to be done up and sold as a set.

What kind of interest do people have in this?

I could polish them, paint them any color combo, decal them...

Ideas, anybody?

I'd be willing to take your old ones as a core charge after the fact and cut the cost, as well.

i have always liked the look of a metallic black intake mani and cam cover, i forget who did it but it looked great. but exh. mani wouldnt really matter that much. although it's always nice to look at a polished ex. mani B)

I don't know, but to me, it seems like cast iron doesn't polish well.

For stainless, if it gets polished it will change colors due to the heat. I think that they have bluish rainbow effect.

To the OP,

how much would you offer up a polished intake for?

I have a flat black intake and a wrinkled head (cam cover)

That's not a bad combo, were both parts metallic and mirror-like?
