See here: http://volvospeed.co...560-guess-what/

I'm not sure if I have it in me to fix this car... again.

I just spent 3 weeks replacing the entire engine... and then the angle gear.

How much interest is there in this?

Everything is in great condition... It currently has a 2.3L engine with a 16T in it (long block came out of a 98R)

Also has cherry finish wood grain steering wheel / shift nob

DON'T PM ME ABOUT THIS.

I have yet to decide if i'm actually going to part it, but am heavily considering it.

Turbo and engine have 180k on them, the rest of the car has 210k

Leave me an offer for specific parts here.

Sorry to hear this...
I'll take the installed cooler lines for refurbing (in addition to your other set) assuming it's not in good shape that can be sold as used.
Would be interested in the 16T for core if the compressor fins are in perfect shape, I'm not happy with the re-build I did yesterday to mine - it was my first time so I could have done a better job.)
Couple of other things depending on how newer (wheels/tires, htr core, blower and resistor, etc). I'll call you around noon to find out if you've decided to go ahead and part it and I can change my sched rest of the day today in the afternoon to help you out get the parts.

I'd be interested in the front bumper (for scandalo), possibly the hood, and mostly the stock suspension, if it's in good working order. What wheels are on it? I need a spare set for snow shoes.

All it needed was more tranny fluid.

We underestimated how much would actually be pumped into the pressure plate when refilling it. The coolant system "exploding" was caused by too much water being mixed with the coolant, and a loose hose clamp. No longer considering parting it out, but for sale as a whole. It needs a front end alignment, and for the passenger side axle to be checked out. The ball joint needs to be replaced on the passenger side as well.

The timing and serp belts are LITERALLY brand new, and the tires have ~ 10k on them, with very little wear at all.

New headlight lenses and turn signals, as well as foglight bulbs. Eurofog relay conversion has been done. The intake manifold, engine cover, intercooler pipping and the fuel rail have all been painted, and the outside of the car has been meticulously taken care of since I got it. The grey trim was re-sprayed black, as have all the grills and the roof rails. As mentioned before, the engine and turbo were replaced with a 98R setup, and the angle gear was replaced with one of hussien's. The SAS has been removed and welded shut, and the car is currently FWD (by choice). The driveshaft is in perfect condition, and will be reinstalled upon request - otherwise, it will be included. The PCV was done while the engine was out, and the plugs were replaced with NGK copper plugs gapped to .26. It was filled with Castrol GTX High milage oil, and a can of 6 Cylinder Restore (the cans are different sizes for each cylinder number). The oil filter is a Mobil 1 filter, and the transmission was partially flushed today. There is a boost guage installed in the dash board, where the auxiliary ports for the rocker switches belong. The only thing on the car that does not work is the flasher switch, which tends to have a mind of its own. There are still red injectors on the engine, but it has a 98 T5 ECU in it. The trunk panel has been repaired with the iPd kit, and the car has been debadged (except for the "xc"). All the badges are with the car, as is the owners manual and correct radio code. The shifter light has been replaced with blue led's ('93 Dave's custom setup) and looks great. All dash lights are in working order, except for a few radio bulbs. All window switches have been replaced, including the driver's master switch. The gas cover clip has also been replaced with the FCP Groton replacement piece, as the original one broke off. The turbo vac lines have all been replaced with iPd's silicon lines, and routed to a manual boost controller that works great, and is good for up to 30PSI without having to drill a 1/32" hole in the side of it. Pictures will be available when it stops raining, and any specific ones are available upon request. I'll gladly ask any other questions you have for me. I'm asking $2600 OBO as is, or $3200 if I need to bring it to a shop before you buy it. Again, feel free to contact me about anything.

Thanks,

-Derrick

I knew that was going to happen! Well at least you have your car.

The search continues!
