I managed to swap my Canistos for a set of straight but extensively rashed Volans.
I am going to have them media blasted, repair the rash and re-paint them.

I have spent a couple of weeks burrowing into VS to see what other color options might work on the Volans beyond anthracite.
Not much out there, so I would love to hear suggestions.

Thanks

Bronze would look real good with your silver, or a really dark anthracite/gunmetal. Black volans just don't look right.

definitely not bronze :D

bright silver volans do look great

there is also a color called "champagne" which was featured on a few OEM wheels, never seen that on volans

These are good ideas, Thanks!
These are winters, so they aren't super critical and can be re-painted. I do drive quite a bit.
I am leaning towards a non-volvo smokey silver or that champagne as suggested.

On a silver car? Black Chrome is my vote.

Went with dark bronze, thanks all for the input.

Its a fine hammer finish. still smooth enough to not catch brake dust too badly.

From that pic, it looks like you have some serious orange peel.
But I'm sure that picture doesn't do it justice.
I like the color though.

 Naw, its a hammer finish.
These Volans were 90% curb rashed before I cleaned them up. The textured paint covers the flaws very well.
The sun was at a pretty steep angle when I took the pic so the texture is enhanced. I'll have them on the car tomorrow morning.
