What type of fuel filters are people using? How hard is it to replace a fuel filter on an 850?

One you understand how to release the end fittings it's easy. I put 100,000 miles on my original filter. When I renewed the fuel pump, I removed the filter to release the pressure in the fuel system and put in a new filter at that time.

So - how do you remove the fittings at the end of the filter? I'm not sure I understand what the instructions mean at Bay13......
Thanks for the pointers!

just changed mine on my 95 850 turbo last week. I pulled the fuel pump fuse then started the engine till it died. This was done to release the pressure. From there just pry the clips off the filter like everyone is saying to do. It's ver easy! One tip though don't bend the bracket that holds the filter on. You'll have a hard time lining the holes up fro the bolt to go in.

There should be a schreader valve bicycle tire tube valve somewhere around the fuel pump release the fuel pressure by pressing in the needle in the middle, grab the filter and pull the connecter toward the rear of the car and it should release (MAKE SURE YOU RELEASE THE CLAMP HOLDING THE FUEL FILTER)
