Hey gang,

Please see the attached photos. Is there an easy fix for this? I'm guessing some sort of adhesive that can tolerate a lot of heat? Please let me know. Thanks!

Go to JY and find a donor with a good dash, it'll be alot less of a headache as it looks like the surrounding area is warped aswell.

Get a new dash from JY. When that airbag blows for real, you don't want shit flying around.

How? Zip them around your foreskin for a natural condom?

To OP

I have crashed before in my 855 and when that airbag goes off, the vinyl cover slams up and breaks the windshield..

It is pretty much guaranteed it will break your windshield when it comes off...

if it was up to me I would try to modify it so when it went off it wont break your window, its such a stupid design

The flap comes up after the explosion and while the airbag is inflating it slams the flap into the passenger side windshield

I took mine out for that reason. I hate replacing front windshields. And oilpans. Super glue seriously works with a weight, thats how mine has been held on for a year.

No point in rippiing the whole dash if he can fix it

And you sir are the idiot if you expect him to go to a JY and spend the time pulling a dash over something that can easily be glued and has no aesthetic purpose other than to save your lfie

I glued mine. If you have a problem that it worked, sucks to be you. I love -1's to, whoo hoo. Fawk you kids are like children. I'm spray painting -1 on my hood tonight, and then jerking off to -1's all over my walls. Maybe i'll try to shoot my sperm to resemble -1's. sweet

The air bag sits behind a plastic cover, which is then covered with the vinyl. So the vinyl is just glued to the plastic.

Really? The cover slams up and shatters the windshield? Wow. And here all along I was think it was that exploding(expanding) bag of nitrogen gas that did it. Damn was I ever wrong.

Come on now... half ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD it with glue and a weight... better yet, JY dash... Best yet, x70 dash! If ya go with the dash swap you can fix that rattling dash before it's a problem!
