I hate to let this little thing go, but I need cash for books. I bought it about 4 months ago from IPD. Works great on my 98, but it does not see Intake air temp and Manifold pressure.

Info can be found at www.scangauge.com

Asking $145 shipped CON US. Let me know if you have any questions. Everything including manuals and the original box will be included.

the SG2 is an awesome buy, really handy not just for Volvos. I've used it on my mom's lexus, sister's honda, friend's toyota, and countless other times to read/clear codes. Very useful to monitor all sorts of goodness.

There compatibility list does include ONLY a Volvo 850 Turbo, anyone else use this and see it not performing to its fullest?

Oh- it lists a 94 Volvo 850 Turbo... what changed from 94 to 96 that would cause me problems in my 96?

edit: i just called them (really curious about this) - volvo uses there own specific codes for certain engine codes - this device only reads the industry standard ??dtc?? codes...(something ive been told before) so not all engine codes will be easy for it to read (if it all) She did say however that in a 96 Volvo 850 Turbo I would have no issues outside of the engine code and that thing such as engine speed- a/f mix.. mpg etc... perhaps its worth it?

Im sure it still reports the engine code but wouldn't know what it is in plain English- maybe we could just have a cheat sheet that would have a list of volvo specific codes and their descriptions.

in 1994 and 1995 those are the Volvos it works with... after that it works on every single volvo probably because they went to OBDII. if you get a volvo code, you can always just put the code into google or here and see what it means.

Thats correct. I originally bought to it clear my CEL while I was chasing a vacuum leak. Then I discovered the little goodies it has like MPG and all that jazz.
Used it on several different cars with no problems.

edit: I should add that the gauge had no problem picking up misfire codes straight away thanks to my inability to put the wires on the correct plugs...found all 3 misfire codes in the computer.
