i've got my ipd change kit, and a case of 3309.
i thought that i was supposed buy a couple extra quarts of dino ATF and run that through first?
but my buddy pointed out to me that it would never be completely out of the system. I guess my big question is, is 12 quarts enough to completely flush the system? and just out of curiosity what is the actual capacity of the transmission? assuming an 01 S60 2.4t

Using the Toyota T1V fluid is also Mobil 3309. Other than those three you will be chancing it as they are all three approved as meeting JWS 3309 oil specification.
Even doing drain and fills is okay. The important thing with these tranny's is to refresh the friction modifiers every couple of years.

This is the first time I've seen any one mention friction modifiers use in the S60. If this is true, what friction modifiers should be added to the 3309?
