Right now I'm very frustrated with my car! I am having a massive oil leak somewhere and I can't figure out where it is since I can't get the car in the air and the lovely skidplate is stopping me from seeing much. There was a good 5inch by 5inch puddle of oil on the garage floor when I got home tonight. Didn't see it before since I usually have the opener for the garage and tonight I didn't.

What's happening is there is an oil leak somewhere and there is a slow stream of oil that comes down and goes onto the oil filter and drips down but I can't figure out where it is originating. I'm going to try to get pictures tomorrow, but I am so frustrated/angry/:angry: right now since I have an 80 mile commute everyday and not having oil is a major no no.

If anyone is in the Missourri, sourthern to central Illinois area and can help that would be awesome! If you aren't from around there just some ideas would be great.

Time for my ranting about how I hate my car right now to end. <_<

So if anyone has any ideas, also I picked up a set of new oil lines but the local shops won't touch a turbo or they are price gouging so looking for a little help on those.

Thanks

Go to a jiffy lube shop, find one that's not busy and ask if it would be alright to see under your car. Other wise jack that oh yeah! up

Just got it fixed today and oil cooler lines were perfect, no leaks or anything of the sort.

It turned out to be the oil thermostat housing that had gone bad.

Had the housing put on and just for the heck of it had new lines (VS member purchase) and o-rings installed since they were already there and had it taken apart.
